In March, 1994, the Gladney Center for Adoption's first internationally adopted child came home to the United States from Shanghai, China. Since that time, Gladney has placed nearly 1000 healthy infants and toddlers, and children of all ages with special needs, with families living in the United States. Over the past several years, adoption from China has emerged as an effective way to make or grow a family.

Picnics and Pigtails!
On Memorial Day Weekend, Kathryn and Sarah sported outfits from their Daddy's favorite baseball team and we all enjoyed a nice picnic with family and friends. Sarah was overcome with all the excitement at the end of the day and crashed in our new double stroller for the girls!
And, in another exciting development this spring, Kathryn's hair is finally long enough for a pigtail or two! As you can see she is very proud of this!
Welcome Summer!
