In March, 1994, the Gladney Center for Adoption's first internationally adopted child came home to the United States from Shanghai, China. Since that time, Gladney has placed nearly 1000 healthy infants and toddlers, and children of all ages with special needs, with families living in the United States. Over the past several years, adoption from China has emerged as an effective way to make or grow a family.

End Of Summer Playdate!
Whitney and Sarah and their moms, Beth Anne and Stephanie got together to enjoy the wonderful frog exhibit at the Museum of Natural History! "Frogs: A Chorus of Song" was great, and we even saw Chinese gliding frogs! (The green frog in the picture!). The girls topped off their playdate with a delicious mac and cheese lunch followed by rainbow ices. Our girls always have so much fun together and the moms always have a lot to talk about! We look forward to more fun playdates in the near future.
Whitney and Sarah (and her sister Kathryn) both start pre-K very soon! Everyone is getting so big!:-)
