In March, 1994, the Gladney Center for Adoption's first internationally adopted child came home to the United States from Shanghai, China. Since that time, Gladney has placed nearly 1000 healthy infants and toddlers, and children of all ages with special needs, with families living in the United States. Over the past several years, adoption from China has emerged as an effective way to make or grow a family.

Look Who Stopped By The Deli!!!
President Clinton with Dani Miller on the left and Ally Miller in his arms.
Gladney Mom Kathy Miller writes:
We live in Chappaqua, the same town where the Clintons own a house. We have seen both President Clinton and Senator Hillary Clinton before, usually at the same local deli. On October 3rd, however, I saw him walk in with his dog, and I happened to be with both my children (Dani, age 5, and Ally, age 2) and I had a camera in my car. We followed him into the deli and I asked if I could take a picture of him with my children. He was very friendly and seemed happy to pose for the picture.
