In March, 1994, the Gladney Center for Adoption's first internationally adopted child came home to the United States from Shanghai, China. Since that time, Gladney has placed nearly 1000 healthy infants and toddlers, and children of all ages with special needs, with families living in the United States. Over the past several years, adoption from China has emerged as an effective way to make or grow a family.

Wearin' O' The Green!
James, Kathryn and Sarah all wore green to celebrate St. Patrick's Day this year. Well, James is in his karate uniform but if you look at his neck carefully you will catch a glimpse of the green shirt underneath. The kids enjoyed our neighborhood St. Patrick's Day parade last Sunday and we are all ready for the greenery of spring in Brooklyn after this long winter!

Whitney sure has taken to skiing. In the past two months, we have been in Vail and Telluride. By the end of our second trip, Whitney was able to ski the back bowls in Telluride! She even competed in a little race and is very, very proud of her hard earned ribbon! Just a few photos from our terrific trips:
