In March, 1994, the Gladney Center for Adoption's first internationally adopted child came home to the United States from Shanghai, China. Since that time, Gladney has placed nearly 1000 healthy infants and toddlers, and children of all ages with special needs, with families living in the United States. Over the past several years, adoption from China has emerged as an effective way to make or grow a family.

Spring Day In The Park!
Jaden, Kathryn and Sarah have all known each other since they came home from China within just 13 months...first Kathryn, then Jaden, then Kathryn's little sister Sarah! The girls enjoy regular playdates. The other day, on one of the rare beautiful spring days we've had, the three Gladney China Program girls got together with their wonderful au pairs for a playdate in the park. Here are some pictures as well as our au pair Yanyan's stunning photo of evidence of spring!
We all hope the girls can continue to be good friends for many years to come!
