Attention Standard Healthy Infant Program Families
In February, we mailed families in the Standard Healthy Infant Program a letter asking that they update Gladney on their desires to stay in the program to complete their adoption. With the long wait in the Standard Program, it is important that families take the time to consider/re-evaluate whether continuing with an adoption from China in this program is the best option for their family. Several families remain very committed to the Standard adoption program, while others families have chosen alternative options that are right for them. It is helpful for us to know what your family has decided so that we can communicate with the CCCWA in a timely fashion. We would not want a baby to be referred to a family who has decided to withdraw from the program. Also, included in the mailing was a letter explaining China's current Post Placement Reporting requirements. We have heard back from almost 50% of the families in this program - thank you! If you have not yet done so, please be sure to sign and mail both letters back to Gladney's New York office ASAP. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact your caseworker.
Guang Ming - Waiting Child Program
Di Di and her friends are waiting for a forever family!
Gladney continues to receive profiles of children through our partnership program with Shanghai Children's Home. Check our Asia Waiting Child blog for new profiles of baby girls and boys that we just received. These children are available through the Gladney Center for Adoption.

Learn more about Gladney's partnership with Shanghai Children's Home! Gladney hosted a special webinar presentation on January 19th at 7pm EST featuring Pat Marcus, pediatric physical therapist and Superkids volunteer. Pat shared about her recent trip to SCH and the wonderful kids that she met who are living at the orphanage and in foster care. The recording of this webinar can be accessed here.

Join us for one of Gladney's monthly webinars which give an overview of the China Guang Ming - Waiting Child Program and talk about children available for adoption. These webinars are normally scheduled for the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 1pm EST. Click here to register.
