In March, 1994, the Gladney Center for Adoption's first internationally adopted child came home to the United States from Shanghai, China. Since that time, Gladney has placed nearly 1000 healthy infants and toddlers, and children of all ages with special needs, with families living in the United States. Over the past several years, adoption from China has emerged as an effective way to make or grow a family.

FCC Chinese Culture Day 2008
Gladney attended the FCC Chinese Culture Day this past Saturday, May 17th 2008. The Gladney NY office donated 500 books, including children's books and books about Chinese Culture, to the event to be given away in the raffle. Gongzhan was in attendance and was able to see many of our Gladney families and volunteers. It was a wonderful event and Gladney is happy that we were able to be a part of it!
